But we (Bao Hui, Alicia & Hui Xin) were split up into different seats on the plane then the feeling was loneliness due to people who are around us in the plane were people who we did not know. The show shown on the plane was damn boring which showed some really really old show, for the food it was acceptable.

Reached Guang Zhou Airport, it was around 12 degrees if I was not wrong, took our luggage & check the luggage into another terminal. Off to lunch after that. Food we ate at the airport was expensive to us. I paid $58 for a meal which consists of a plate of rice with curry chicken. But it was quite nice. Learnt the first thing at there, which was "you cannot pick up items that you made drop which are supposed to be cleared away by the waitress" as they will like look down on you.

After lunch, it was photo taking time as we had time

Chatted in the plane a lot as we changed our seats and it was people we know that are sitting next to us thus we had a subject to talk about. But people in the plane serving was not that friendly as when someone wanted to go to the rest room when they were giving out drinks, they were like saying “can you go later instead” which did not portray a good image to me being a tourist coming here and it was what a tourist would have the first impression of how the customer service will be like. I think that they should have allowed the person to pass instead which was what they did after awhile or should have said it in a more polite manner.

After we alighted, it was around 3 degrees, had the first taste of the cold weather which I have never experience before at the Wuhan Airport. We took a bus journey from Wuhan Airport to the school area which was around 2 hours. Upon reaching there, we got to see our apartment we are going to stay in for the next few weeks. Had to carry our luggage from the first floor to the fourth floor as we were assigned an apartment on the fourth storey and there were no lifts. When we open our door, we were jumping here and there as it was simply too cold and we opened our luggage and quickly whipped out our jackets. The apartment was something which was not to our expectations as it was much nicer than the ones we saw in photos of the presentation slides that were given by the teacher before the trip. Ate rice with fish for dinner which was given by the caretaker of this place even though it was warm it was kind of spicy and the fish was bony, maybe it was not according to what I like. Got keys for the apartment. Then we drank a cup of oats after that.

The cereal was fantastic as due to the cold weather, the warm water just warms our body up.

Then the television programs we were watching, we noticed they had damn funny advertisement and shows shown on the television and we were laughing till our tummy hurts. Guess that was our first bonding time we apartment mates had.



Finally, first day of unpacking, scene and it was washing up and snuggled into bed under the covers.
