Today, I woke up after the sun was already shining brightly outside. It was a privilege that breakfast which was brought by Alicia and Baohui as they knew I should be still sleeping and by the time, my stomach was already talking to me.
Alicia, Baohui, Bernice, Li Zhen, Kia Fu and I were the first batch to go out first at around 2pm so that we could save money and took the bus instead, so as bus would take a longer time to reach there, we went there first while the rest took the cab there.
While taking the bus, we missed a stop and not sure whether is it that we are foreigner or Koreans that he let us off the bus as a place that was not a bus stop. Maybe the bus uncle likes Korean people as when we told him we were Koreans, we let us off.
First stop for the day was Chicony. As we were the first group to reach there, we went to the food court and had some shaved ice dessert to counter the weather which was very humid outside.
The desserts
After the rest who were Eileen, Xiu Jin, Yan Khee, Kuan Wee, Jian Wen, Weiyang and Teck Chong reached; we headed to our second stop.
Second stop was to Wen Hua Jie. We shopped there till it was around 7pm. During that period of time, Li Zhen also did a recording! And I think it was her first recording. She is a lady with a melodious voice.
After that, We, Alicia, Baohui, Li Zhen, Yan Khee and I went to find Mr. Wee and the rest who were Xiao Wah, Hui Xin, Cheong Rui, Jack Boon, Jin Rong and Han Soo to eat Japanese food at a Japanese restaurant at Chicony. At the same time, we bumped into Singaporeans who were from Ngee Ann Polytechnic who were studying in the Chinese Media studies. For me, being able to see people from your own country in a foreign land was really a delightful thing. Thus, we started taking photos.
After that, we had a really filling, funny and shocking meal. Filling as in really filling, funny as in the matter with the calling for customer service and shocking as in after we all feel as if we were filled to the brim after our set meals, Han Soo ordered another humongous bowl of ramen.
This meal was a treat by Mr. Wee. Really big thanks to him.
Then we all headed back to our apartment after we brought bread for our breakfast for the next day.
